Verifier and Clarifiers

First off I would like to say that I am only a year into archery and still don't know a whole lot about the sport. And i am sure this more then likely has been answered before but here we go. I was wondering if you could use a clarifier on an HHA Sight with a single pin with a 4x power lens and would it help if the image and pin is blurry at anything past 10 yrds. I have not got the lens installed yet because I don't have it yet but I do know I need one so I got one on line. I was wondering if the lens would clear up the image and then all I would need is a verifier for the blurry pin. Or could it be all that I need is the lens and it should fix up everything and I wouldn't need either the verifier or the clarifier. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks
